What we collect
We only ask for what we need to treat you safely and run the clinic.
- Browsing the website
- There is no enquiry form to fill in on this site. Our website host keeps basic visit statistics — which pages were viewed, the site or app that sent you, and your browser and device type — so we can see how the site is working. We do not run advertising trackers on this website.
- Messages you send us
- If you contact us on WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, by email or by phone, we receive your message and anything you choose to include, such as your name, contact details and questions about a treatment.
- Booking details
- Appointments, gift cards and deposits are handled through Fresha. Fresha collects your name, contact details and appointment details, and takes payment for your deposit. Your card details go to Fresha's payment system — they are never typed into our website or stored by us.
- Treatment records
- Before treatment we ask about your health, skin, medication and medical history, and we record your consultation notes, patch test results, the treatment you had and your aftercare advice. This is health information and we treat it as confidential.
- Photos
- With your agreement we may photograph a treated area for your records or to show results. We only publish an identifiable photo where you have agreed to it, and results photos are cropped so you cannot be recognised. You can ask us to remove a photo at any time.
Third parties on this website
A few parts of the site are supplied by other companies, who may see limited information about you when those parts load.
- Google Maps
- The map on our Contact page is supplied by Google. When that map loads, Google can see your IP address and may set its own cookies.
- Instagram feed
- The photo strip taken from our Instagram is supplied by Behold. Instagram and Behold may see your IP address when the feed loads.
- Links out
- Our booking, gift card, review, Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp buttons take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.
Some of these providers store information outside the United Kingdom. We rely on them to use suitable safeguards, and we do not pass your treatment records to them.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Your appointment
- To book your treatment, remind you, and confirm your deposit.
- Your safety
- To check whether a treatment is suitable, carry out a patch test, and give aftercare advice.
- Your care
- To follow up on healing and keep a record of what was done.
- Questions and payments
- To reply to your enquiries and take payment.
- Legal duties
- To keep records the law requires, such as tax records.
- Running the clinic
- To see how the website is doing and improve our services.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
How we protect it
- Secure connection
- The website is served over HTTPS, so information sent between you and the site is encrypted.
- Limited access
- Only the people who need your information to treat you or run the clinic can see it.
- Private owner area
- The clinic's search-performance tool sits behind a sign-in restricted to the clinic owner's own account. It keeps a sign-in record in your browser and a copy of Google search figures for 24 hours. It is not used to hold client information.
- Payments
- Deposit and card payments are taken by Fresha, not on this website.
Children and young people
Our age rules keep young clients safe, and a parent or guardian is part of the process.
- Earlobe piercings
- From age 5.
- Other piercings
- From age 14 with parental consent, and photo ID from 16. Nipple and Christina piercings are 18 only.
- Laser treatments
- Most laser treatments are 16+ with parental consent; intimate areas are 18+ with photo ID. A patch test is required before treatment.
For a client under 18, personal details are handled through a parent or guardian, and we only keep what is needed for the treatment and the client's safety.
How long we keep information
We keep appointment, contact and treatment records only for as long as they are needed for your treatment and aftercare, and for any legal or tax requirement that applies. Once that time is over they are securely removed.
If you would like the exact retention period for a particular record, ask us and we will tell you.
Your choices and rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- See your information
- Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct it
- Ask us to fix anything that is wrong or out of date.
- Delete it
- Ask us to remove information we no longer need to keep.
- Object or restrict
- Ask us to stop or limit a particular use of your information.
- Withdraw consent
- Change your mind about a photo, or about hearing from us, at any time.
Ask us first — email or call us and we will sort it out. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

We may update this page as the clinic, or the services we use, change. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page shows which version you are reading.
