What it is
What is semi-permanent make-up removal?
Semi-permanent make-up (SPMU) is cosmetic pigment worked into the skin — on the brows, that includes microblading, powder brows and brow shading. Laser removal uses light energy to break the pigment up, so your body gradually clears it and the colour fades over time.

Per session
£80 – £100 per session, with the price confirmed at your consultation.
Around 4 sessions
Most brows need around four sessions for the pigment to fully fade.
Every 6 weeks
Sessions are spaced roughly six weeks apart to give your skin time to heal.
Microneedling between
Microneedling between laser sessions is an important part of the process.
Planning to have your brows redone once the removal is complete? We'll work alongside your SPMU artist throughout the whole process, so your skin is in the best possible shape for the new work.

What to expect
These are the general steps. Your technician will explain exactly what's involved for you at your consultation.

Consultation
We look at the area, your skin and the pigment, talk through your medical history, and check that treatment is suitable for you.

Patch test
A small patch test is carried out so we can see how your skin responds before a full session is booked in.

Treatment
The area is cleaned and the laser is passed over the pigment. Sessions are short, and you can go back to your day afterwards.
4
Review
The pigment fades gradually over the following weeks. At your review we decide together whether another session is needed.
